Guard A.J. Lawson has signed a two-way contract to return to the Dallas Mavericks this season, the NBA team announced on Thursday.
The Mavericks had waived him on Tuesday to reduce the roster to 20 players.

He also played in 10 playoff games and totaled 11 points, three rebounds and one block in 30 minutes.
The Canadian played in 14 games for Dallas in the 2022-23 and totaled 54 points, 20 rebounds, two assists and two steals. Lawson earlier that season appeared in one game for the Minnesota Timberwolves. –Field Level Media
